Ok, so I've been reading ALL of these posts about the get together and I am SO jealous! I want to play too. I know that I'm fairly new to NN and most of you don't know me very well yet, but these boards have been great for me. I love reading all the stories and I'm learning SOOOOO much.

I don't have a newfie to bring with me but I'll do anything I can to help! I'll be the drowning victim!! Anything, I swear!!!! I'm a graphic designer, anything that needs to be done? Programs, flyers, anything? Please?



PS: My DH thinks I'm absolutly crazy to want to drive 8 hours to spend the weekend with a bunch of people I've never met!

The more the merrier! I'm glad you decided to come. As for a project, a post awhile back mentioned needing someone to do a NN banner to carry in the parade. (Hint hint ) I guess you would contact Jeannie if interested????

PS: I would love to be a drowning victim too! Sounds like great fun.

Of course you can come!! I am sure I can find lots of things for you to do. I am also positive that you can borrow a newf or two to join in on the fun.

You and I can drown together. My newf is staying home. a 7 hour plane ride is tooo long.. plus I know she would want the window seat and would eat all the complimentory snacks.

Hi,

Welcome to the group!! You don’t have to have a Newfie to come!! We have been members of SCNC for 5 years now and we still don’t have a Newfie. We have the only “ White Newfie” Moose. Moose is a Great Pyrenees, we joined the Newfie club because we couldn’t find Pyr club. And since Moose won’t share his Mom & Dad with any other Fur Person we will have to wait to get our Newfie.

Maybe we can talk Annie in to bring her 3 and then we can both play with one of hers --- She a Land seer named Sailor that is a love & he is big as my Moose who weights about 180 lbs. I say about because he very between 180 & 165. He will be coming with us.
