Brag for rescues

Hi everyone,
Yesterday, Wednesday, I showed my 2 yr old rescued newf Samatha at our local county fair. I am happy to say that she won "Grand Champion"
I was and still am every excited. Since Sam is a rescue and of course spayed, I cannot show her in the "real" world. Everyone tell me she is nice (her breeding is Pouch Cove and Top Mast)so this kinda confirms it. Sam beat many dogs that already have their AKC Championships. The judge was also an AKC certified judge. So this was a pretty tough fun show. I want to also mention that the reserve champion was a mix breed from the pound--also a rescue. HURRAY for the rescues!!!!!!!!!

I just came from the other board and congratulated you there but I will do it again...congratulations!! I think it is so wonderful that they are rescues.
