Blender or Food Processor

Its me again. Even though Nature's Variety Raw has a mix of fruit & vege's in the patties, and the ingredients look pretty well balanced, I want to add a vegetable blend. What kitchen appliance works better to make this mash, a blender or a food processor? Product recommendations would also be appreciated.

I have both, but tend to use the blender more as it seems to break it up more, like a juice, when I add water to it. I also make up quite a bit at a time and freeze it in smaller cartons (I have eight dogs..so make up 20 lbs or so at a time.) Whatever you get, buy the best you can afford. A cheap blender does not last long when pureeing carrots!

I use the food processor for the veggies and the blender for the grains. I like some bulk and not make my veggies to mushy. But I like my grains almost like flour. I blend all the lupins (beans, peas, chickpeas, lentils etc) quite roughly. Or sometimes I soak them and give them a quick buzz. But our home grown wheat I make to an almost flour. I also quick buzz the steamrolled oats and barley ( Bought for the horses, but also used for the dogs)
I also have a Kenwood meat grinder, It is very tough, which i use to do large amounts of carrots, pumpkin and potatoes (Skin and all), when we clear out our veggie garden of these. And I freeze everything. I have owned my Kenwood since the eighties it is very noisy, but will do almost anything and you can leave the pieces large.
