Bentley did great on Sunday at the test.
Double retrieve, we did some fancy foot work running down the beach for the first article. passed
Bring the oar back to the boat, we knew that was going to be a problem as we had not practiced it much and he did not understand. But when he jumped off the boat when we were barley away from shore, well that blew it. But he got back on and while he made the detour to wading depth before coming back to the boat, he did bring the oar back.
We had never done the take the life ring before, should be the same as take a line, right? Nope, Bentley knew it felt different and was confused again. Waded out a little bit with him and he never looked back. Brought the person back to shore.
Underwater retrieve did great. passed
Take the bumper to the boat and pull it in. Passed
Ride out on the boat, jump and save me. Passed. Even if he did rip my number off my back and bring It back to shore. I am sure someone has that picture.
We had a great time, and Bentley did FANTASTIC. We will continue to practice for our WRD and we are even thinking about the WRDX.
Sue Lynn and Robin did a fantastic job stewarding and they were just great to be around and also supportive. We met so many nice people.
