It has been extremely hot and humid here. It has been in the 90s and with the humity it feels like a 100 degrees. So the dogs have been inside going crazy and driving me crazy in the process. But they don't like the heat and neither do I. I had a heat stroke ten years ago. Not as bad as it sounds. I just have to becareful in the heat. So wednesday to the river we went. Only way to get all that energy out in the heat and it's only a 3 minute car ride away. I won't take both dogs by myself because I let them off the leash in the water. Plus I think they enjoy the one on one play time with me. They had a blast! Their was kids to play with and a neighboor even walked down to say hello to the dogs. I swear they have their own fan club. Here are some pictures.

But they are my babies. His name is Jixer. Yes, they are getting so big so fast! Busa was 13 lbs at 8 weeks. Now Busa is 8 months. He turned 8 months yesterday! He weights probably about 100 lbs. He has gain 3 pounds a week almost like clock work since we got him and 2 weeks ago he was 93 lbs. Jixer was 22 pounds at 10 weeks. He will be 5 months in 2 weeks and is probably about 60 lbs. We have had trouble keeping weight on him. But we are making progress.
