Misha, my 1 1/2 year old newfy girl had recently got strange red spots on her back legs. They seemed to bother her, she would lick them a lot (already got a spot hairless). I took her to the vet and he told us it's an allergy and gave her a shot and recomended a change in diet. The spots slowly dissapeared and the skin now looks healthy, but her hair doesn't. On the whole area of her back legs she's got strange dry and harsh hair that breaks when combed. So her coat is quite short already. On the rest of her body there seems to be no problem, people are still giving her compliments on her beautiful shiny coat.
Does anybody know what's the reason for this?
