About a week or so ago, I got a package in the mail. Excited, I thought it was something I had ordered from Newf Emporium.
Instead, it was a sample pack of Back to Basics Food for Dogs and Cats. I'm not sure how I got it... I do subscribe to "Dog Fancy", so maybe that's how.
Anyway, the "Back to Basics" is made by Beowulf Natrual Feeds, Inc., Altmar, New York. In reading their literature, I discovered that they breed Mastiffs.
The food is available in eitehr Real Pork or Real Chicken. The highlights from the label include:
*Human-Grade Ingredients
*All Nautural (with added vitamins and minerals)
*100% Complete Balanced Nutrition
*Good for Every State of Life - Adults, Puppies, Seniors
*Hormone Free
As you would probably expect, it's expensive.
I'm just curious if any of you have heard of it. Since it came in the mail, I was a little leery about letting my dogs try it. However, we were out of Kira's training treats, so Russell used it last Thrusday night during Kira's class. She loved it.
Thanks
Annie
