Back of legs

I was finally able to get around the back end of Rory and give her leg feathering a really good comb out, for the first time in ages.

Because she has had her incontinence problem of late, her back end has been a dreadful mess. The area was impossible to groom as it was damp, smelly and clumpy. Thankfully the meds are finally starting to work and tonight while she chewed on a rawhide bone for distraction, I was able to crawl around on my hands and legs for a good 45 minutes working at her.

Now I can finally be rid of the guilts! I was tempted to clip the area but was very reluctant because I know how it grows back. I'm glad I waited and perservered.
