It's official, I'm a 34year old Grandma!
My stepdaughter had her baby last Monday. She had an emergency C-section after being in the hospital for over 10 days. Her name is Paige and she is doing well considering she came 6 weeks early. She was on a breathing machine for the first 48 hours but now she is breathing on her own. She does have a feeding tube in her because she is not eating so well. Paige is expected to be in NICU for the next two weeks at least. Her weight is pretty good at 4lbs 3oz. Mom was released from the hospital yesterday and has gotten a hotel room close by so she can be there for her feedings. I can't wait to hold her, she is such a beautiful baby.
