Anybody can take me to dog show?

Hi! Shame on me! I didn't have a chance to get into any show here in USA(only TV) althought I live here about two years already...family problems. Just got my driver's lisence last week and very bad in directions. I had experience in showing my dogs in my native country and working as a judge's assistant in the ring and also as a secretary of a Great Dane's local club..but no experience here..my husband will not really enjoy going there with me and we have a 10 m.o. baby...and I'm just afraid to get lost...Can anybody help? I live in CT.

Please, understand me correctly. It's not a problem to find the information when and where the show will be...I'm new in the country, just got my liscence 8 days ago and very bad in directions. Just afraid if I'll leave my husband with my baby son at home and will get lost..it will take me forever to get back. Sorry, sounds pretty stupid...

Are you asking for driving directions? You might try www.mapquest on the internet to show you the routes or if you belong to the AAA auto club they can make you a map, called a "TripTik" to help. Buy a good Road Atlas too.

I think she is looking for a ride to the shows. What town in Conn are you in. Just curious what is your native country ?

Call Triple A (under AAA in your phone book). You have to be a member before they will do a Trip-Tik for you, but I've been a member for many years and highly recommend it. I've found Mapquest to be less than reliable in the past.

I'm curious too - where are you from???
