Any ct members reccomendations for a dog boarding place?

Not sure if this post should go here or not. Can any of the members from ct recommend a good boarding place ? We have been using a great pet sitter where Sadie would go to her house when we go out of town but as of lately she has been acting like she does not want to watch Sadie anymore. I have no clue why , Sadie is well behaved and house broke and gets along with other dogs. We are going away end of March beginning of April and need to start finding somewhere to board Sadie.

Sorry, I've not found a kennel that I like here. In MA there was a new Petsmart with hotel and my dogs were totally spoiled there for 3-4 days once. Here Petsmart is in Waterbury...muff said.

Did you try googling and then asking for references? I found this in eastern CT in just a few minutes but I can't endorse it. If you're nearby you could always check it out:

I live in Colchester and have used the Pet Resort in the past when I had my labs..I don't have any specific complaints other than one of my dogs came home with kennel cough(despite the required vaccination for Bordatella)..There is a woman who does in home boarding in our town,but I have not used her..If you want more info,feel free to PM me

Check with your vets office. Lots of vet techs pet sit on the side, as an added bonus, they already know your dog I mentioned it once at my vet here (just to try to prepare if I needed it), and 3 of them jumped at the chance to watch the boys.
