Any CT Groomer recommendations?

Since moving to CT I have tried a few groomers and while the dogs leave clean and shiny - the don't leave looking like newfs. I am in Ellington CT (not to far from Springfield MA) and was looking for groomer recommendations if you had any to share!

I use Candlewick kennels in Glastonbury, CT. And I've used John Gagnon's in Colchester. Both are a bit of a hike for you though....

Thanks Lisa... willing to take the ride for recommended groomer. Reading on-line reviews is just scary. I know that most people only post when they have negative experiences and there are tons of positive ones never posted for each negative review - but it's still great to get a recommendation from someone here. Thanks!!

OF the two, I prefer Candlewick.

BUT... there is a groomer in Glastonbury, a male groomer (which won't work for Khabo as he has man issues), they are small and do a limited number of dogs. If I remember correctly, they also need you to pick up as soon as the dog is done because they don't crate (which is an aspect I like about them....) They are "Animal Bath and Burrow". A friend brought a very skittish female Landseer to him and he was fantastic with her.....

I have a friend from Coventry CT and she have been breeding & rescue for years, she said call fancy feet in vernon and request PAM only.
