Air Purifier

We want to get a good but not break the bank air purifier. With the 3 dogs and a cat we could use one. Does anyone have one they recommend? If so where did you get it and apprx cost.

I just got one given to me.. what it does is electrify the air particles somehow so they drop to the ground. It has eliminated some of the dander, but not all...I think it was about 300.00

We use the Flair and I think it's around the same price. Big hoo ha now about the safety of ozone generating machines. May want to look into that before you buy.

We've got 2 Hunters. It was a package deal from Sam's Club so they were inexpensive...around $150 for both. You have to keep an eye on room size when you buy these things. We have a small house, but could use a couple more. I have no clue if it's really doing anything. It must be doing a little bit 'cuz the filters are gross already and we haven't had them long.

As far as I know, the HEPA filter is supposed to be better than a washable permanent type filter. But it's something you could look into.
