Unbelievable. Woman steals dog, fakes it as a service dog, and sues real owner as story goes viral all over the world. Unreal.
There is so much interest in this story, and so much commentary, that The Oregonian newspaper and online site are posting links to police reports, rulings by Animal Services and legal filings, and also publishing and soliciting sleuthing by worldwide readers.
This is not going to help those of us with legitimate service dogs!
Smart readers are seeing obvious fakery signs and pointing them out.
Outrageous story.

Readers following quest of Portland man who lost dog want more: Police reports posted
(links to legal documents, police reports etc)

Northeast Portland man loses dog, finds dog; Corvallis woman won't give dog back
This is my metro area, where I take Orka in his service harness via bus and train everywhere. Already attracts way too much attention, huge bear dog; now it's going to be really difficult. Answering a billion weird questions is not an autistic's idea of a pleasant day :_(
