A quick hello!

So, we brought the puppy home 2 weeks ago, and so far, I think we're doing ok. Nelson is exhibiting normal puppy behaviour....mouthing, barking for attention, etc. We're working on that, particularly when he runs after my three yr old and nips at his shirt and pants. It is very difficult telling a three yr old to not run and shriek when a 30 lb, 10 week old ball of fur is chasing him

We seemed to have mastered housebreaking, he sleeps from 11 pm until 6:30 am, and he now sits on command. I think things will get even better when we start puppy class on April 7th.

I haven't had my film developed, so I have no pictures yet, but trust me...he is one cute little guy. We had a maintenance worker over today, and he just loved Nelson, although he did ask if he was a black St. Bernard

I had no idea how tiring it would be raising 1 furry and 2 furless kids
:D

Ah, yes. We had a major thaw here, and have one squishy backyard. It was so mild that eveyrone wanted to be outside. At one point, I was out with Nelson, and my three yr old showed up in the backyard wearing a t-shirt, his Harley jacket, underwear and a pair of rubber boots. It was a Kodak moment
