Bruce had his second TTA yesterday, almost 6 mths to the day of his last one I was hoping that he would be one of the lucky ones..but I guess 80 % odds that the other leg would go..which is what the surgeon said..is hard to beat!!
The surgeon called last night and all went very well. He only had a 50% tear and no meniscus damage and no arthritis..so I'm very happy we caught it early. Last time he did have a torn meniscus and some arthritis because I think I waited too long..not being sure it was a cruciate.
His previous surgery leg was exrayed and all looks perfect! He said there is no further signs of arthritis in the 6 mths so very good news. I am anxious to get him home this afternoon and looking very forward to him getting strong again. I just want him back to his cheerful happy self. Cash is lost without his buddy..doesn't quite know what to do with himself. He will be SO happy to have him home too!!!!!
