Looking for suggestions about a raw food diet/prepared raw kibble for newfs. If you use the commercial raw foods, what brands do you prefer? Also, if you prepare your own raw meals, how do you keep your family safe from contamination? Thanks!

I was pretty upset to see this today. I contacted Newpendel to see if they can maybe help get this dog to a loving home. Thought I would post here too... Does anyone know who this dog or owner may be??? She is a beauty...How you could just give her away after 5 years is beyond me...

We need a ramp for Violet ... When she was much smaller we had one but she did not like it and I think it was too narrow for her widening rear ;) any catalogs or brands people recommend ? Thanks

Hi - We are going on a vacation in Chatham in a few weeks and really want to bring our Newf, except that the place we are staying will not allow pets. Last year we were able to bring her and she had the best time swimming every day in the ocean. I am a little worried about the recent shark...

We are new to Newf Net- we have a beloved 15 month old Newf named Violet. We also have 3 human kids :) ages 9, 8 and 9 months. We all adore Violet, even one of our 2 cats is enamored with her. We have met many great people because of her and look forward to meeting many more here.
