First of all, here is how awesome NN is...I met Glory (MrsBigDogs) on this forum who has introduced me to some friends of hers who also have a newf. As a result, we have been having a lot of fun getting together. This weekend, we participated in the New "Dublin" (New London, WI) St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday. Last year the temps were in the 70s. This year, I don't know if the temps got above 30. Anyway, here are some pics:

Here is my niece hanging onto Floyd and Anya before we were going to load Eden (in the van) in the wagon.

This was the staging area. Glory (MrsBigDogs) has her Belle hooked up to a cart that was all decorated.

Here is Eden happy to be on solid ground. We got her in the wagon but she was very scared. So, I got her out right away and I walked as far and as fast as she wanted to go.

Here is Glory with Belle leading our group.

Here is Steve walking Anya and Floyd for me. Apparently, they were both good ambassadors for the breed as they did the meet and greet along the route.

Finally, here I am with Eden...several blocks behind the rest but doing our own meet and greet. We ended up walking half the route and catching up with the rest later.

Looks like fun. I am sure the Newfs thought 30 degrees was very comfortable for a nice walk, last year was too hot.

May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light,
May good luck pursue you each morning and night.
Irish Blessing :)

I don't know why but that Floyd looks like a monkeydoodle to me....
