that the pull of a newfie that needs a new home would pull so hard? This house does NOT need another dog, but ooooohhhhhh there is a doggie that's parents are old and not doing well and now needs a forever home. WE can't ship three newfies back to the states (can we????) Besides my wife would kill me if I brought home a newfie that can't walk on a leash and then leave in a couple of weeks. Yep... she would definitely kill me :shuffle:.

please pray the insane pull goes away and a home is found quickly. I must behave... I must behave.... I must behave :angel::angel::angel::angel:

I'm not one to talk...I had a senior tug at my heart strings haflway across the country. So much so that since we didn't have room for her to join the Trio on the drive home we flew her here the following week!
I'm not one to talk..(or try to talk you out if it.) Nope, NOT ME!!!
If the heart tells you you're needed...heed the call and do what I did. Look at Michelle with big ole sad eyes and say "name inserted here" NEEDS US MICHELLE" pause....pause....continue with the sad eyes....waaaaait for it.....BINGO!! She's telling you its ok...

Oh Eric,

I didn't mean to put you into such a state with my e-mail. I promise I will find this guy
the perfect home.

Hubby has suggested I go "look" at him. (A step in the right direction. Originally he was
saying NO WAY). We all know what happens when one just goes and "looks" at a Newf.

We are considering taking this guy in until we can find a forever home or he becomes a foster failure. My daughter has suggested we put water on our faces and pretend we're crying when begging hubby. Does she know how to work her Daddy or what???

Since we have the most energetic, rambunctious, naughty, sweet, devilish, tomboy Newf
EVER. We're thinking this guy could be good for her. Maybe teach her a thing or two.

You know what the NN saying is... they're like potato chips... :)

I like the forgiveness idea.. gotta use that on hubby..

They say once you have one or 2, another's not that much more work... I would say go for it. :)
