I'm dying of curiosity to know what the members here would have done in my shoes.
This morning I was walking 3 small bording dogs (2 Bichons and a Coton). Halfway up my street a guy from across the street comes out with a dog that he boards for friends' of his. We start walking together but at the end of the street we go the opposite way. On my way back he too was coming from the other direction and I noticed the dog had pood on someone's lawn. It was a corner house and the dog did her business on the side grass. I also noticed that he didn't pick it up. As he came to me I very diplomatically asked if he wanted a bag. His response was "no not today". He was saying he's not picking up today and he also told me the owner's of the dog gave him a whole roll of bags (which of course he wasn't carrying). I pointed out to him that there's a $1,000 fine here for not cleaning it up. He didn't respond. We continued down our street and I was slightly ahead of him and low and behold when we got to his house there is a small patch of grass in front and one of the Bichons decided to do his business on it. The odds of something like this happening have got to be one in a million.
So do you leave your dog's poo to teach him a lesson? Do you say not today I'm not picking up? I will post what I did after I see some responses. I'm very curious to see what some of you would have done.
