What to take when picking up a puppy

For some reason I can't find the list that was created regarding what items to take when picking up a puppy. The ride is approx. 7.5 hours. Will someone steer me in the right direction.

Towels (paper/cloth), water, leash & collar, crate, poop bags, food, toy or safe chewie.

Don't forget to take a t-shirt so you can rub it on Puppy's mom.

I always bring one of my other dogs..even two. Annabelle is just the best puppy sitter

Great list...thanks to everyone who replied. My friend is picking up a Maremma from a breeder in Kentucky. I think that's how you spell it. I wish I were picking up a Newf!!!!!

My neighbor has one of those to look after her chickens, goats etc.

When you make "rest stops" try not to stop in areas frequented by other dogs, like dog walking areas at rest areas. Even if a pup has had his first shots, he's not fully immune to diseases until the shot series is completed.
