There has been many questions recently on posting of links to craigslist or petfinder. Angela and I hope this clears up all questions:

GAD's rules state
Rescue posts that point to other sites such as "petfinder.org" are allowed. Newf.net should not be the primary source of information for a rescue. Links to NCA rescue organizations websites are preferred. Rescue posts that point to other sites such as "petfinder.org" are allowed. To clarify: Links can be posted here as long it is toward contacting rescue. These posts/links are not for people on NN to purchase a newf.

So let's not be afraid to post links to we can get as many of these poor newfs into rescue!

Just to add to this, there is the Sticky "How to contact Rescue" at the top of the Rescue Forum if people are unsure which club to contact.

I have just taken ( Thursday ) on a 4 year old Landseer from Canada who was shipped to SA for breeding, he is 15kg underweight, has ground down bottom teeth and an eye infection. He is already looking so much better, had a good bath, vet check raw food diet and eyes are clearing - People are my worst animal!

Bless you for taking him, and I'm sure he'll repay you in so many ways. Welcome to NN! This is the ultimate Newf site. You will learn so much and just enjoy the journey.

I adore people who can rescue these beautiful souls...rescue dogs are just wonderful loving beings that just need a chance to have a loving home. Thanks to all those who rescue...I will again rescue when I get a chance.
