Vitamin E Deficiency

I was reading on a Lab forum in the raw diet part about using Salmon oil possibly causing Vitamin E deficiency. This forum has lots of great posts about the benefits of salmon oil but I didn't find any about Vit E...has anyone heard this?

I did not hear of this until your post. I started looking around on the Internet and it appears to be true, for both humans and dogs. I may have to adjust my own supplements.

Yes, my understanding is that salmon oil can interfere with vitamin E absorption. A gal on FB was giving way too much oil which had this effect and it almost killed her Newf. IMHO I think we supplement way too much; basically killing our dogs with kindness. If a balanced diet is fed, the body will take what it needs... I don't feed raw because it's far easier to screw up the balance kibble affords. Again, MHO.
