Well, I am finally posting this awesome news!!

Tribute (911 In The Line Of Duty) went to his new home on Dec 8th. His new Junior Handler (Andrew) and dad (Chris) came to the Dallas shows to watch Tribute in the show ring. What a debut he made!!!

On Friday, Dec 7th, he placed Best of Winners for a 3-point major!! This was his first major!!! Ribbons and a beautiful snow-globe music box trophy. And on Saturday, Dec 8th, he once again placed Best of Winners for his second major, another 3-points!!! Saturday was the OWNC supported entry, where he got more nice ribbons and a rosette, and he also got some more very nice trophies!! Blimey!!! Not only did his new family need to have room for him on their trip home, they had to make room for all the Booty!!!

Tribute will be participating in conformation, obedience, rally, water, and draft work. His new family is very excited and we are very excited for them and for Tribute! I sure miss my Baby Green Boy, although at 18 months old (just yesterday), he is one big fella!! 148 lbs, lean, and 32" tall!

His new family will be joining SENC and NCA, and they are looking forward to the numerous Newf friends and activities. And they are already planning to attend the National Specialty in Frankenmuth!!!

So, any time you might cross paths and see my "Baby Green Boy," please give him an extra special hug for me and his momma, Saphira. We sure miss his sweet temperament and those big beautiful eyes (yes, he can melt you on the spot!), but we are so very thrilled with his new home and family. ♥♥♥

Sounds like Tribute is in a great place and so cool for his new family to witness his wins!

That's awesome, sure sounds like he made a clean sweep of the winnings! What a great thing to have the opportunity to do as a kid, too. Starting the addiction to Newfs young, I heartily approve! Sounds like Tribute went to a great home. Can't wait to hear how they work as a team in the future.
