Titan Arum. Worlds largest flower

Also known as Corpse flower. Opens once every 7- 10 years.

This is 10 days ago when it was closed. It's 92 inches tall.

This is it open the other day. It usually open for 24 -48 hours.

This was a unique experience to whiteness & photo this rare occurrence. These were taken at Niagara Parks Flower house.

Thanks for the comments. Yes it is called the Stinky Flower but it wasn't that bad that you couldn't stand it and after ten minutes or so yo sort of got used to it. LOL
Jeannie it wasn't crowded at all because there web cite wasn't working and no one knew. We just went down because I wanted to play with my Macro lens and it was just lucky. Also Beth had a 18-135 mm on the D80 so I was able to trade lenses or I would have drove back home .We are only 25 min from the Falls.
