I'm so sorry for your loss. :( I can only imagine the pain you are feeling today. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you in this time. I'd like to share a poem that helped me a bit when my girl died. At least, it helped me to cry. . .

Should you go first and I remain,
to walk the road alone,
I'll live in memories garden, dear,
with happy days we've known.
In Spring I'll wait for roses red, when
faded, the Lilacs blue.
In early Fall when brown leaves fall,
I'll catch a glimpse of you.

Should you go first and I remain, for
battles to be fought,
Each thing you've touched along the
way will be a hallowed spot.
I'll hear your voice, I'll see your
smile, tho blindly I may grope,

Ivory was the epitome of a Newf. She was a joy to watch in and out of the ring. The bond she and Susan shared was incredibly special... and beautiful... I think that it was perhaps, one of the most special bonds between a Newf and Human that I have ever been priveldged to witness.

It was an honor knowing Ivory... She was incredibly sweet.

Susan, my friend... my heart hurts for you so very very much. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you... and know that someday, you and Ivory will be together again.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Ivory. She was one special Newf. I remember seeing her several times over the years and have never forgotten her.
Your pain is felt by all who knew her. She'll live forever in our hearts.

Thank You all! I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers, this is the hardest thing I have ever delt with, one day at a time. . . .Annie, your just wonderful. . . .I hope you and Russell are okay, I know how much Ivory loved you guys too. . .yes she was a top notch obedience dog, but she also spent many hours being a loving friend that went way beyond me.

I know she made a huge impact on a lot of kids at Childrens Hospital. . . Numerous strangers would find themselves drawn to her, even if they didn't like dogs. . .just looking in those eyes, you were the center of her world, and she would make sure everything was going to be okay.

I will be lighting the four candles tonight too. . . .

I am so sorry to hear about your special Ivory. What a wonderful girl she was. Remember all the good times you had and know that someday you will be in that big obedience ring in the sky showing everyone how it is done!!

We're all so sorry to hear about Ivory. As blessed as you are to have her in your life, she was truly blessed to have you in hers. You allowed her to live her life in true Newf fashion, as a companion, friend, and working partner...a bond in your hearts that will be forever unbroken. Rest in peace, Ivory.

I am just catching up on stuff now, and i came across this post, i am deeply sorry and my heart aches for you, she surely sounds like a special newf.
time will heal the pain, and soon you will remember her with smiles instead of pain.
