That is one GORGEOUS boy! I love everything about him, he's beautifully balanced, has a spectacular head, a sweet face and he moves like a dream...he's the TOTAL PACKAGE. Congratulations to Joan and Team George.

No. I wasn't able to attend this year. I have cancer and I'm undergoing radiation treatments. Next year in Rhode Island, hopefully.

I have a rare sarcoma and I'll need surgery after these treatments to remove what's left of the tumor. Then another course of radiation....hoping for the best. My dogs are keeping me sane through this. Watching the National, vicariously, has been a great distraction this past week.

He is one gorgeous Newfie. Why are there so many empty seats?

Thinking of you Tricia2. Where is the cancer? Take care with the radiotherapy as it does cause a lot of damage.

I'll take my issue off this thread to a new one so as not to detract from George's win. Here's another photo of GCH Heartsease King of the Jungle (George), taken by Christina Rutland while he was schmoozing with his fans at the Post Breed Banquet.

Now that all makes sense.. He was the "George of the Jungle" at the top 20 banquet...

I probably have pictures somewhere. Just got home late this afternoon and had to head out to a meeting. Will get them up later..
