I also bought "The Lighthouse Dog" for our niece and it is still on our bookshelf. It is a cute quick read. Molly is the character. I purchased mine through amazon.com. I have read the book a couple of times because it is cute.

I just read this book to my grandaughter before our Sunday afternoon nap. She liked it, and it has cute pictures. It shows a sweet mischieviousness of newfs. The ONLY problem I saw with it was and I hate to say this

, was that Cora picked out her newf puppy from a pet store. But it was a sweet story and the idea of living in a lighthouse and having a rescue newf was neat.

Just got this book for my 5 year old niece. It's a sweet, funny story that small kids (and some not so small) will like as it shows the goofiness of Newfs as well as their heroic character.I'd certainly recommend it for youngsters.

I bought that book for my daughters for Christmas. They love the fact that it's all about the breed we own. Cute pictures, too!
