Spring is definitely in the air here in this part of the world. The trees are still bare but the sun is out longer and the temps have settled in the mid 50-60s. Found a great open area inside the forest located next to our house and decided to take the boys exploring.
It started off with a bang...looked around nobody in sight, no other dogs, no problems...RIGHT? NOT...as soon as I unleashed Tsunami and Typhoon they took off running as if they didn't have a care in the world. All fine and dandy but out of the corner of my eye I spot a deer tearing across the field...probably in terrible fright from the 2 bears in her neck of the woods. Tsunami spots her first and before I could get his attention, off he went. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought he was a greyhound. Typhoon followed but couldn't keep up. That and he doesn't like to venture far from Dad. I'm yelling at the top of my lungs TSUNAMI..TSUNAMI...TSUNAMI COME COME COME!!!! Clapping my hands. By now he is out of sight and I am saying to myself...OH CRAP! Eventually Tsunami sees Typhoon running back to me and finally diverts his attention to my clapping and yelling and begins his trek back to me. I think he realized he couldn't catch the deer. So it's back to basics with our recall. All was not lost though...I did get some nice pictures of the boys laying in the sun. Most of them of Typhoon today. Tsunami didn't want to settle down much. Imagine that. Anyway hope you all enjoy.
