Swelling around eyes

My newf had puffyness around his eye.....I thought it was a bug bite...now he has gotten it again twice!......could it be mites or something it does not bother him he lets you touch it and he does not itch it the skin above the cornor of his eye just puffs up then goes down in about a day....any advice appreciated

I just had Meg out in the woods and she got a few gnat bites, her eyes swelled for a day, she's okay now though. Dave

We get that all summer with Maggie, the vet agrees with us that its bug bites. And since we've seen her snapping at bugs in the yard we figured the ones she doesnt get she just pisses off and they bite her! The vet told us to give her a benadryl if shes itching at them to help stop that, and yes they are usually gone in 1-2 days.

i would get the opinion of your vet first, and also remember any allergic reaction can include swollen eyes, emmett had this with the dog lice we are dealing with.
