Solo sees the vet

So, Solo had his annual check up today. He was not happy. Somehow, two young guys managed to hoist Solo onto the table very carefully whereupon Solo went into that I.hate.this.so.will.pretend.it's.not.happening mode. (ei, hide all feet, tail and do not lift head for any reason at all)

Well, kind Dr. Rains checked his heart, checked his tummy (how is a mystery considering how flattened Solo was). He checked Solo's mouth, eyes and ears. Checked his weight (my whittle bouy - 111.5 #
)

Finally when all was done, the two assistants lifted Solo and set him to the floor - Solo then barked all his pent up nervousness at us all lol. He's such a cutie

It's nice to be able to take a pup to the doctor and say "It's just an annual, no problems!"

*sigh* I still miss my little girl though.

It's hard, Rachel, and will be for a while. But I'm glad Solo is doing well.
Funny, but my Newfs all seem to regard going to the vet as a social call. They love it! Could it be the treats my vet doles out????

Heehee, Solo sounds like a cutie.

I used to dread taking my old Golden Retriever to the vet, I was always SURE there was going to be something wrong with her. I had this fear they were going to make me put her down before she really needed to be. (they didn't, however.
)

My vet gives out liver treats that Rory luurrves .

Glad to see some smiles coming from your way, Rachel! It must have been nice just going to the vet for regular stuff! Luckily, my vet's examine my two girls on the floor!

Hang in there.... time does wondrous things!
