Socialization play date went wrong...

Since Ella was 13 weeks I have been socializing her to kids (of all ages), people, cars, trains, heavy traffic and many other stimuli including other dogs. Currently, we are heavily focused on shinny floor surfaces and meeting new dogs. Ella tends to focus on the people and ignores the other dog. At puppy classes she craves the trainers attention and plays with the smaller, more calm dogs. I have also been taking her on play dates with other dogs in controlled environments. Well, until today when I took her to meet my sisters 1 year old neutered male, boxer mix from a rescue in PA. His name is Zeus and he is very friendly and affectionate. However, he is also very energetic and in your face kind of dog. We introduced them outside in my moms yard. Tails were wagging and things looked good so we went inside. Zeus immediately started jumping on Ella, and licking her face like mad. The he started mounting Ella so I asked my sister to get him off and I took Ella out for a quick walk. When we came back, Zeus started getting even more rough with Ella and continued to mount her. I quickly got sick of my sister ingnoring Zeus's behavior so I left and got Ella back home to her safe, happy place. She has been sleeping since we got home. I watched some of the YouTube videos for introducing dogs and I'm going to work on this daily, but I wanted to get some feedback on how to handle socialization play dates that don't always go so well. I think this situation could of went a lot better. Eve tho there was no growling, barking or biting, I still did not want Ella in a situation where the other dog owner was not in control.

There are some dogs that are just rude....I do not allow them near my puppies as they might ruin my puppies.... your dogs does not have to tolerate all other dogs and you are thee to protect you puppy, so just leve that dog of your social visits.... might work better when she is a well socialised mature dog and huge :)
