Khiori had another grand mal seizure this morning. She went 18 days seizure free. In a way I'm disappointed because I had really hoped to go a month. But I'm also happy we had those 18 days of 'beast' free. *sigh*

to hear that Khiori had another seizure. At least she went 18 days without any. I pray that Khiori will get better and for you to have strength to make it through this difficult time.

Even when her dosages are correct, she may have an occasional seizure. Our hopes are with you.

Vicki, I agree with you. I'm going to take the same approach as last time. If she goes back into the once a week pattern, then I'll know it was effective for a time but not now. I honestly didn't see this one coming. Before I was able to tell the night before by the look in Khiori's eyes. She didn't have the 'look' this time. Well, back to : Seizure free - one day.

Btw, I'm looking into changing her diet. Maybe that will work. In fact... A while back I switched her from one food to a low cal / weight loss mixture. (same company) I'm wondering now how closely I did that to when she started seizuring. I'll post though, if I find anything significant.

Oh Rachel! I know how you feel... but you're right to focus on the positive... you had 18 free days... and that's great... and just remember that you'll have more. Hang in there.

I can't remember if Khiori is also on KBr? Alos... look at the seizure itself. Was it the same... did it last as long... did it take her as long to "get back to normal?".
