This isn't a challenge, but I would really like to see some of the snow pics you people back east have had to contend with, considering out here it's rain and springlike.
So, please tell me what I am missing.
Thank you :)

Rub it in, rub it in...

Will try tomorrow. Most of us just want it to melt! It does look pretty though.

Here was before the bigger snow fall (we didn't get a ton like they predicted)

Here is the yard before what was to be another round of snow, which never came.

I was attempting to upload a 20 sec video of the end of Zeke getting snow blown but couldn't figure it out through photo bucket so I'll attempt to try youtube..but no promises cause it's been a long time since I've uploaded.

We don't have but a dusting of snow. We were to get 10 inches this past weekend but the track of the storm went north and we just got rain. I'm not complaining about that! Last year in Jan we had a total of 26 inches of snow so far for the year. This year 8 inches.

Here you go, Angela. I'm officially over winter but if seeing the dogs makes you happy, here's the 2.5 feet of snow that was the Blizzard of 2015 on Cape Cod, Jan 25 and 26. This past Monday we got more snow that turned to freezing rain and then back to snow. It wasn't as picturesque, in fact it was downright depressing to see all that snow covered with a coating of ice...and more snow. But hey, it's New England and there's a prediction for another few inches coming tonight. Forecast for the weekend...MORE snow starting on Sunday and continuing through Monday and most of Tuesday. The only bright spot in the last 3 weeks was that the Patriots win at the Superbowl. Love them or hate them, at least there was something on the news that wasn't about snowstorms. ENJOY!

And here is Rob Gronkowski wearing a minion hat and shooting an be-yah while riding a duck boat at City Hall Plaza for the Patriot Nation celebration...BOOM!

Thank you for all the pics. I have seen horrific pictures on TV about the amount of snow over there.
Just after Christmas 1996 we had the blizzard of the century, no one had ever seen so much. We had at least 4 ft and being west coast rain forest are used to rain all winter. Every single thing ground to a halt for over a week. The army was brought in to try to clear roads, but snow ploughs are also not common here!!! Since that time the city has bought a few in case it ever happens again. Had to dig tunnels for the Newfs and the poor English Cocker had a terrible time!

The pictures on TV recently reminded me of that awful time we all had.

We typically don't get the same snow amounts as the rest of Massachusetts because the Gulf stream passes by the 'arm' of Cape Cod giving us a slightly warmer micro-climate. Around here the Blizzard of 1978 is the storm by which all others are measured. This one surpassed that one in actual snowfall but a combination of slightly less wind and significantly better preparation (the Governor issued a drive ban on all except emergency vehicles and healthcare workers) made it a much easier aftermath to deal with in total. Despite the pickle-puss face that LuLu is making at the camera, the dogs LOVED it. Me, not so much, but then I'm old enough to remember the Blizzard of '78.
