Secret Santa this year??

In the past, I organized a Secret Santa for the critters of Newf Net. I don't see any mention of it this year, and it's a bit late to get started on a world-wide inclusion, but we might still be able to pull off something on a smaller scale. If sending to Canada, Australia, etc, at this point you'd have to order something online from a store in that country, and have them mail it to the recipient. Otherwise, it will get delayed in customs.

I'm willing to organize, if anyone is interested in participating.

Please PRIVATE MESSAGE ME with your information:

I need your name (first and last), your Newf Net name, your EMAIL address (one you will check often), your mailing address, your dog's name, whether it would like a toy or a treat, any allergies it has (so it doesn't get a beef treat, but is allergic to beef), what breed it is (your non-newfs are included), and whether you want to send individual gifts (each pet sends and receives from someone else's pet), or a group gift (if you have several pets and want to send and receive one box of gifts to someone with another group of pets).

Individual participants spend a max of $25, plus postage. Group gifts spend a max of $50, plus postage.

Everything needs to be mailed in time to arrive before Christmas!!

One other note....please do not sign up if you aren't going to follow through. You don't want to be the grinch that spoiled someone else's holiday happiness.

OK, start private messaging me with your information, and we'll get this organized quickly. I will send out the names/addresses/info of your recipients right after Thanksgiving weekend.

In the past, we used a chat room for an online "party", where everyone opened presents at the same time, then shared photos, etc. That proved to be difficult, as not everyone could get online at the same exact time, due to location, etc. I think we can let our pets open the gifts on Christmas, then post pics and thank the sender, in the photos section of Newf Net. OK?

Great. We have some participants. Any others interested, please hurry and get your info to me in a Private Message, so we can get this organized quickly. Contact any other NN'ers who you think might be interested (but who might not check the board frequently), so they can be included.

Thanks so much for taking this on!!

I totally spaced on it for this year. I did it last year. I've been sick so it just slipped my mind. I can PM you the link to the google form I used last year for entering information. It seemed to work really really well, rather than doing everything manually.

Received mysterious packages today, hmmmmmmm wonder who they are for. Newfs mighty interested.......

Mine went out today he he he

Ella received her SS gift yesterday and loved it! My 5 year old son was also so excited that we received a x-mas package from Canada. I was going to make Ella wait to open until x-mas, but between the 2 of them sniffing and shaking the box, I knew they would never be able to wait. This was so much fun! Can't wait to do it again next year.

A box was delivered to our house today too!
I hid it away in a closet before Laughlin had a chance to inspect it.

Laurel, Cowboy and family, thank you so much for the wonderful Secret Sandra gifts! The girls absolutely love the toys and have been playing with them all morning. The treats look amazing too! I got a few photos in the frenzy that I'll post. Merry Christmas everyone!

Kelly and Ella!

Thank you for the fantastic Secret Santa gifts!!
Laughlin loves them!
He was so excited opening the box and sniffing. He tried to eat the paper until I pointed out to him that there were toys in there that squeaked!

Merry Christmas!
