So I know a few people have not yet received their gifts. Apparently the postal service is being very slow this year. If you have not gotten a gift as of today, please let me know so I can follow up with the sender.

Starting today, please feel free to open your gifts and post about it here.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

First - Our package should arrive in Canada on Wednesday. Amber (Kim), we had you and I promise your gift is coming! My dear, sweet husband saw our SS gifts on the table and very kindly mailed them for me.......but they're not wrapped and there is no card. I also think they're in a Pampers box.......

Now for Elvis' SS gifts. Jeerme had us and we can NOT thank them enough. I knew the handle name looked familiar and tonight realized it's because they just lost their newf, Molly. You honestly did not have to participate after that. I can't imagine shopping for gifts when your heart has recently broken. Elvis will be 8 next month, making him just a few months younger than Molly. Please know that he LOVES his box. He got a new hedgehog, a blue rubber toy, a squeaky duck, and a toy cover that you put empty water bottles in. He took right to the hedgehog and the rubber toy? Well......our 10 month old daughter may have claimed that for herself!

Thanks again. We really appreciate everything and hope you're doing well.

Mine have just arrived, I am also waiting as I want to take pictures with Urshie opening the boxes..... She loves cardboard boxes

This was our first year participating, and we had so much fun, both giving and receiving!

Scarlet's Mom, I hope our package to your lovelies arrived in time and intact.

Abbey's and Ranger's family, thank you so much for the wonderful gifts! Clara and Sophia absolutely loved them, and we loved the personalized ornament, note and ingenious shower for perpetually dirty paws!

I have tried to upload photos -- hopefully this works!

Thanks again and we look forward to doing it again next year!

Brandie & Ruby,

Thank you both so much! Our gifts arrived. I brought the mug to work today to show it off :). I put the toys in their stockings until Christmas - McGee and Ziva are going to love them.

I'M glad you like them. There is one more toy arriving today. Sorry for the crazy amount of amazon packages! I didn't realize when I ordered it was all going to come separately. Haha. I just couldn't get to the store and post office the last few weeks with a sick little one at home (the 2 legged version). Enjoy your coffee mug. I thought it was funny. :)

Sylvia (Scarlett's Mom),

Thank you so much for the wonderful gift basket. The kids (and I) love everything. The lizard is a huge hit. Ruby will absolutely love her antler too. I'm saving it until she finished her current one. Thank you again!!!

Abbey and Ranger want to send a big thank you to our Secret Santa. Our Santa is still a big secret as no name arrived with the gift.
Our gifts arrived in 3 boxes which I had to hide as soon as they came because as you can see Abbey can't stay out of the boxes. What a big haul they got. They are loving the happy moppy toy. Funny thing is I sent that toy too :) And I am thinking the kong six will have to be a outdoor toy so Abbey docent take me out hahaha.
Again Thank-you to our Supper Secret Santa.

Clara & Sophia's Mom I'm so glad the dogs are enjoying the toys. I had tons of help wrapping and packing. I was afraid I would have to ship Abbey too. Merry Christmas.

Brandie thank you for taking on this big task. It is always so much fun to participate.

Eleanor and Laughlin, Dublin loved his gifts! He thinks the stocking cookie and peanut butter treats are delicious. He loves the turtle! At one point Christmas morning, he was showing interest in my two year old granddaughter's toys. She said, "No, Dubby, here's your turtle" and he happily turned his back on her toys.
As you can see from my lack of avatar, I'm not good at posting pictures, but I'll have my husband try to post one soon.
Dublin definitely got the gift that traveled the farthest in our family, from British Columbia to south Florida!
Thanks so much, and thanks again Brandie for coordinating!
Merry Christmas!

Mary and Dublin,
We are glad that Dublin likes his gifts! Those cookies are Laughlin's most favourite. They make several different kinds, but I read somewhere on NN that Dublin is fond of peanut butter, so we chose them. We thought it would be fun to send Canadian "Northern" cookies all the way across the continent.
Glad to hear that he likes the turtle too - enough to trump your granddaughter's toys!
Merry Christmas!

Your very welcome, actually shopping the dog aisles gave us some normal. We picked toys we knew Molly would of loved except this year she didn't get to try them first but our 3 year daughter did! Give Elvis a hug for us, thats the of the things I miss most is getting and giving a newf hug daily.

Onto our Secret Santa, I want to thank MCME (Mary & Dublin) for the touching words, card and gifts for our newborn daughter. Very thoughtful and thank you! Indeed it was the Christmas cheer we needed.

Secret Santa made an extra special visit to our house today!!
Laughlin and I say a great big thank you to him/her.
Laughlin is in love with his new grizzly bear, and is snuggling with it righ now.
He is also very impressed that the enclosed card was addressed to "Sir Laughlin"!

The only trouble is that our SS did not identify who they are. I know there is a story that went on behind the scenes related to this gift, and would really like to thank you properly. Also thank you to Brandie for all the extra work.
For now though, please accept some virtual Newfie hugs and cuddles from Laughlin, who really loves his post-Christmas present.
I did take pictures, but have not figured out how to post them.
