I know that I have seen at least one person mention SAR in their sig line. SO how does one get started in SAR? WHat kind of training is involved?

written by hank whittmoore and caroline hebbard about caroline hebbard, a fantastic book.
another great book is "ready" written by susan bulanda.
if you are interested, go to NASAR or NASDN websights and look for bulletin boards or email lists and try to find a group near you that you may visit and see how they work.
