I have missed you all terribly, but SAR has been sucking the life out of me.....AND I LOVE IT! D'Artagnan is progressing admirably. He ripped a toe nail off a couple weeks ago, but other than that, not a hitch. He is now learning the recall/alert/refind after six weeks of very consistent run aways. I am the one who has trouble juggling the leash, radio, treats, etc. Isn't that the way it always is?

tanx for the update, been wondering how you have been doing, yes it will suck the life out of you and eventually you will burn out, if you are driving very great distances to train, twice a week likei did! LOL
enjoy, it is great, esp if you have a reputable unit to work with.
with the latest scandal with that gal from the MI team i am wondering what it will do to complicate thngs for volunteer SAR teams out there.
what she did may lower the boom on you guys eventually.
hopefully it wont.
