Running with paws turned inwards

Hi everyone!

I went to the dog park yesterday and someone there pointed out that my dog Riley is 'pigeon toed'.

I watched her closely and did notice that when she was running her front paws were turned slightly inwards.

Since then I have been closely watching her when she moves and notice that she does have a slight turn sometimes when walking and that it is more evident when she is running. When she is standing all 4 paws/legs are straight as can be.

Any idea what this could be as I am a little concerned. She does not seem to be in any pain and is otherwise quite active. Riley will be turning 1 on January 21. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Will also be checking in with the vet so I will put any updates in case anyone else has seen this in their dog as well. Thank you!

I wouldn't be too concerned, some Newfs tend to run like that. However, would be a good idea to have your vet check things out.

Don't forget that she isn't finished growing yet. So that may change somewhat. Still good to have a vet's advice.
