Our crazy House Beast (yes, that's her nickname) has been doing well. She makes improvements every day, but still reminds me that she's a teenager. :bang head:

After almost getting kicked out of our first group training class for constant barking, and spending almost the entire class in the corner behind a screen, she finished the 6 week class. In the last class, she was the star student. I was shocked, but I'll take it.

She still goes absolutely nuts when she sees another dog that she doesn't know and isn't allowed to greet, so we're working on that.

We gave her a bath yesterday and fully expected a fight, but she just sat there. It was actually pleasant. The dryer, on the other hand, was a big fat NOPE. Baby steps, right?

She's terrified of the vacuum, blender, and other similar objects.

She wakes up at 6am every day and now comes to snuggle in bed with us until we get up.

She's become quite cuddly which I didn't expect.

So that's what's happening here. Nothing too exciting, but she's doing awesome, so I just thought I'd share.

Has her potty training ended now? I remember her having some trouble with this in the beginning, and you did not mention it in this last post. Just curious, I know how frustrating it can be.

Yes! She did struggle with this for a long time. She hasn't had a poop accident now since late September. She's able to hold it much longer now.

We struggled with her food and getting her to have solid poops. All that got better around the same time, so I think it was related. She still has a "nervous tummy" and has bad poops when she gets really excited, but we just know that now.

She does occasionally do an excited pee when someone comes over (mainly one particular friend) but it's just a dribble and is truly an accident.

So overall, its sooooo much better!

Ah sounds like the baby hellraisers have competition.

Baby steps in everything and we train, train and train again to instil some sense into our loons.

They are getting there but get very excited so lots of redirection and noises so nnothing phases them
