Customer comes in. "I'm here to pick up a dog for my friend."
I didn't recognize him so I ask which dog.
He says the lab.
Ok I have 7 labs which one.
He says the black one.
Ok I have 4 black labs. How about a name?:whistling:
Success. :groovy: I know which dog he has come to pick up.

:kgo_017: Did this person, at any time after that, think, "duh, should have just given the name to start with"? Or do they wonder why you didn't know right away which lab? ay yi yi

Should have trotted out all 7 labs and said "here you go" and given him a huge total due. LOL

Imagine if he got the wrong dog. What would his "friends" think when they came home to the wrong black lab. LOL.

That reminds me of a SophieLab story years ago.

I was doing CDX with her where you go out of sight for the Sits and Downs.
there were several Labs in the line and I somehow went back to the wrong one!!!! Took a long time to live that one down :(

I totally understand. I used to work in the service department of a Volvo dealer. I used to get calls asking about the "silver Volvo wagon."
