I am sitting here writing this surrounded by boxes of my stuff so they can move me to a new building. Because of a reorg I got moved to a new group. Been in this group about a year and a half, lots to do and lots left to do. Just stinks. This vent brought to you by the latest reorg.

Art ...

Know how you feel. Am in the midst of one too ... At least you didn't get re-org'd to another company ...

Must be something in the N. Va. water that makes 'em want to keep doing this nonsense.

It's not just WVA. Reorgs are almost continual at my place of employment here in Ohio too. You have my sympathy.........

Ah....you know you work for a bank when, in the past 5 years, you have changed bosse 3 times and title twice but are still located in the same cubicle.....

I agree! Total
to everyone coping with this stress! I live in the area of Sprint world headquarters, and they lay off thousands and reorganize and move many many all the time. It is very stressful but apparently very much a part of almost company's "plan" today!

I'm sorry, Art. :( There is way too much of this "reorganization" going on everywhere. I live in a town of around 28,000. Three of the major employers have had major cutbacks in the past 5 years. We have another one that locked the Union out, and an insurance company that is eliminating alot of it's work force by fall. Kevin is one of those that lost his job about 5 years ago. Got a new job in a town 40 minutes away, got laid off from there, and is now in a different town 40 minutes in the other direction. It's crazy what's going on everywhere.

Good thing he grew up in Hawaii and I'm in Illinois, or I'd be worried about the stories that he'd tell about me! Pass on a "Hi, cuz" for me. :D
