Pure MSM

Has anyone tried this supplement for themselves and/or their dogs? I know it's found as part of other supplements (e.g., Glucosamine & Chondroitan) but I've been researching it and it seems that it alone, is one of the best things for not only pain & inflamation but also things like skin/seasonal allergies.

I recently started taking MSM for my joint aches and pains and I can honestly say that in one week's time, I have NEVER felt better! They have all pretty much disappeared.

One of my Newfies suffers from terrible Fall seasonal allergies and I think I'm going to start him on pure MSM, too. Dosage for a dog is supposed to be about 50 to 100 grams per 10 pounds of body weight.

I purchased mine from GNC. They're 1000 mg tablets in powdered form.

I get Zander's from the Vitamin Shoppe. It's usually Buy One Get One Free or Buy Two and get THREE free.

I've been taking 4000 mg a day.....(2000 mg, 2X). Just started Oliver on 1000 mg in hope it will start helping his itchy skin.

I used to give this to Chance, along with his other supplements. He got 1000 mg - twice a day. I think I might try this for Sydney and Leo now too. Sydney seems to be doing really well with the MicroLactin, but it can't hurt taking this too.
