Puppy Formula Vs Goats Milk

I see quite a few of you prefer to feed goats milk to their newborn puppies. Specifically the Meyenberg goats milk: http://meyenberg.com/index.php?page=breeders-veterinarians

What is your reasoning for this and is this a complete "food" or would one need to add additional vitamins or supplements to it? The puppy formulas that are available come complete so I'm just curious about the difference in the two products and the health benefits of each.

When I have to bottle feed I always use Meyenberg goats milk.

My puppies do very well on, though they tend not to gain as much on it versus Mother's milk which is natural. I like to add a few drops of pet nutri drops to it and also some yogurt.

I always use goat's milk for formula and have never used the pre made formulas.
