ok i have a question, may be to detailed!
i have the photoshop 6.0 version book
but, i am having a hard time finding out how to implement objects from other photos into one photo.
anyone have a step by step?
say for an example.
i have a photo of a caged eagle, and one of a free flying eagle.
i wanted to put the free flying eagle into the picture of the caged one.
how do i find a step by step?
thanx! i have photoshop 7.0

Can't you just drag it from one layer into the other? I did that quite a bit with some photos I was playing with. I have CS 2.

First image "Select all" "Copy"

Click on second image "Paste".

This should paste the first image into the second image as a new layer.

In theory.

Ok, see if this works:
-open your first picture
-open second picture you want to add
-click "V" on your keyboard(move tool)
-Left click on one picture around the center(not the edges)and drag it on top of the other.
-click "Add layer mask" on bottom right of screen.
-click "B" on your keyboard (brush tool)and select a soft brush. I use 150.
-to make the brush bigger or small you can either press [ or ] on your keyboard until you get the size you want.
-start using brush tool on your picture by pressing left button on mouse, you will see the other picture appear while you brush.
-don't worry if you erase something you didn't want to, simply click on the "x" on your keyboard and you can paint it back on with the same brush.
-after you're done go to "layers" and click on flatten image, then you can save as jpg.
- If there is anything i missed let me know
