It is spring in the U.S. Let's see some flowers!

It's spring and there are flowers everywhere. No excuses to go out and shoot a few shots.

I love the way the light and shadows play on that last flower.

This isn't on the level of Jeannie's beautiful flower, but it's the best I can do. This is the first year that I've gotten more than one or two buds on this peony and I'm pretty excited because they are just perfect.

Ok, I'm a sucker for Newfs and flowers. This is the best I can do at the moment. It's hard to tell but the lilac bush over White's right shoulder (left side of the photo) is flowering. They are only in one small spot on the bush, though.

Like a lot of places, spring is very late here, too. Give me a few weeks I should have something much better! This is my first year of growing all my flowers from seeds and bulbs.
