I have never been to this show but I do know there are very few bench shows any more. I think this is the show they are televising on thanksgiving day. Westminster is probably the best known bench show.
THere are rows and rows of benchs set up and every dog entered has an assigned spot where they must be crated by a certain time through the end of the day, usually a set time. This means the dogs must be 'on display' most of the day. It is very tough on the dogs.
The dogs of the same breed at benched together except for those that are benched in with their handlers. It can be a good opportunity to see the dogs and compare them.
