HANC is holding a grooming seminar in Kansas City on March 4th and 5th featuring Penny Shubert, the well known Newfoundland groomer as the speaker and demonstrator. 10 working attendees per day will learn grooming skills on their own dog under Penny's expert guidance. 25 auditors per day will observe Penny and the working groomers.
Saturdays seminar will address basic grooming, while Sunday's will cover advanced techniques such as correcting top lines, etc. Even if you don't show your dog, the basics seminar could benefit all Newf owners. Learn how to use a variety shears the correct way to make your companion, therapy, or working Newf the most beautiful he can be. These seminars do not cover brushing, dematting, or bathing dogs.
