Panda's test results.

I just got the results of Panda's thyroid test. She has low thyroid. I just knew that she would have low thyroid because her symptoms were too much like Sara and Samantha's.

So what does that mean, exactly? Is it particularly detrimental to her health or will she be ok?

Amy,
Panda should have not ill effects from having low thryoid--since it is being treated. Not treated it can eventually cause death. Panda is taking soloxine--the same medication that humans take. She has been on it for 11 days and already her guard hairs are no longer falling out. Her coat is not a dry and she seem to have more energy. I am sure I will notice more improvements as time goes on. Although, I have been taking her for short walks, I have been trying to keep her quiet since she has stitches from her spay. They will be removed on Monday, then she can play and return to her draft training.
