Panda's paw

As everyone know I posted about a week ago of Panda limping. I have been massaging her left leg and paw. Tonight I found a lump on her paw near her little toe. It is sorta like a callouse but she definately shows pain when I touch it. First thing tomorrow I will call the vet

Good luck tomorrow, Jeannie! I am hoping that it is nothing serious. You are a very good Mommy for massaging her legs and toes.

Please let us know how you make out!

Panda has a hairline fracture in her little toe. For the life of me I don't know how she did it. She is to have rest for the next month to give it time to heal. It may take awhile because--well 135 pound newf walking on a broken toe isn't giving it much rest

I suppose a 30-day tummy rub is entirely out of the question?

Glad to hear she is ok though.

She may enjoy that. I know she was very upset today when I took Sara and Sam for a walk and she had to stay home. Hopefully she will get better real fast. Does anyone know anything to do for a broken toe??

If they're treated anything like people - there's nothing you can do. With people you pretty much tape it to the toe next to it to help immobilize it, and deal with the pain. At least that's how it's always been in my experience (I taught Tae Kwon Do for 8 years - I broke a few toes, usually my own)
